We decided to do a trial run in our back yard before we took our family camping this year... After major stress around the fire, and the kids waking up every ten minutes, Brandon took everyone to their own beds around 1 am. (Actually, 2 of the kids had pink eye show up that night too. That might have contributed to the chaos at bed time).
Maybe next year kids...
